VE Information
As one of the three alpha test sites, you may have
already seen the new SUBS Safety Check Form being used this year.. There
is also a Feedback Form that needs to be completed along with each Subs
Safety Check Form and be returned to the DSO for reporting to National.
Please remind your FSO's the importance of both forms, The Feedback Form
is only for this year due to the new SUBS Safety Check Form. By the
30th of each month, the FSO-VE's should gather all the forms from their
VE's and send them up to the DSO-VE. Of course, this only applies to
the VE's that actually do Safety Check's on Kayak/canoes (SUBS). Please
encourage all VE's to be an information source for paddlers and small
boaters and generate greater safety awareness among paddlers.
