FLOTILLA RENDEZVOUS
When: VJ DAY Weekend, August 9-11, 2003
Where: East Passage Yachting Center, Melville RI
Who: Everyone is invited; the facility is easily accessed by land and sea
What: Wine and Cheese party Saturday afternoon 1500 hours,
Cookout/Pot Luck Sunday 1700 hours.
Both functions are “POT LUCK” please bring enough Wine&Cheese/ hourderves for yourself and to share Saturday, likewise Sunday is Pot Luck supper please bring enough for yourself and to share. Please bring all utensils to serve your dish(s)
Activities a family-oriented marina, East Passage Yachting Center has complete shore side amenities for the boater, ranging from head, laundry, and shower facilities to a swimming pool, picnic area, volleyball court and Schooners on the Bay restaurant. Marina has free shuttle service to RIPTA bus stop to take you to/from Newport. The choice is yours or you can just hang out on the boats. Quinn Sea can be talked into leaving to take interested members out fishing.
ALL MEMBERS AND FRIENDS ARE WELCOME; WE’LL BE HANGING OUT ON THE BOATS AND SHORESIDE
IMPORTANT NOTE: NO open flames on boats at dock (fuel depot is near by) marina will let us use propane grills near pool or you may use your inside cabin stoves.
Cost: Boats: $3/foot, Friday arrival ok, and Pay marina when moored
