BASIC BOATING SAFETY CLASSES
 
Rhode Island requires completion of a safe boating class for anyone to operate personal water craft (PWC, Jet Ski) or operation of any boat by someone born after January 1, 1986. This class will give you the certificate to meet this requirement, make your boating experience more safe & fun and could also save you money on your insurance.
 
Starting Monday, February 7th
 
Classes are offered Monday & Thursday evenings starting 7:15 pm at Toll Gate High School located at 575 Centerville Rd., Warwick (exit 10 off 95)
 
Topics to include: Boat design, choosing the right boat, Federal Regulations, Trailering, Boat Handling, Aids to navigation, Buoys, Navigation, Inland & River Navigation, Locks & Dams, PWC, Small Boat Safety, and Sailboats
 
Power & Sail class cost $60.00 per person. This includes books & homeworks. Charts for navigation $5.00
Optional Sail supplement for the sail class $10.00
